Sheaf Ring

断面の連なりを美しく魅せるリング。
28枚の形の異なるプレートを一枚一枚手作業で切り抜き、表面はテクスチャーをつけ断面は磨いて斜めに配したスティックに通しています。
アーム部分は原型をあえてヤスリの表情を残した状態にしておき、鋳造が上がった段階でヤスリ跡をすり潰すように磨き上げました。

A ring with a beautifully mesmerizing series of cross-sections.
Each of the 28 differently shaped plates is cut out by hand, textured on the surface and polished on the cross-section, and threaded through the diagonally arranged sticks.
For the arm part, the original mold was intentionally left with the expression of filing, and after the casting was completed, it was polished so that the filing marks would be worn away.
*This item has a slightly different look from piece to piece due to handwork. All pieces are entirely handmade in our Tokyo studio.
